Worth Grinding to Get Opportunist

I'm only halfway through friendly with both lower city and Sha'tar, and no rep with Keepers of Time. For a rogue that doesn't plan on doing any instances, let alone raids, is it worth taking the effort to get to honored with these factions to get their opportunist pieces, or should I just take my lumps in AV (free honor) and work on getting the S1 or S2 gear?
Grind you way to get the pants, hands, and chest. You should be honored with most of those. Hang out with the AH and get arakkoa feathers to get honored with lower city. wow gold

After that, BG/arena and get your MH then your OH. Grind engineering till you can make deathblow goggles. Do some instances for other gear (if you really have to.. feet, bracers .. neck too but BG has some nice ones, unless you want to get exalted with SSO) and pvp saving your honor for s4/whatever comes out for BG thats better than whats there now.
Grinding BG honor to replace opportunist is a much bigger and longer grind than just getting the few pieces that are going to give you an easier time getting points in BG for upgrades that matter (MH OH) and in turn upgrades that will get you replacements for opportunists.
